Supporting education
As young people are such a vital part of a promising future for Kosovo, Meridian firmly supports efforts to improve the country’s education system. This includes improving facilities for Kosovo’s young people to both learn and play. Meridian has supported both classroom and playing field renovations on the primary school level, but that support also extends to the university level, where the company sponsored renovations at both the University of Prishtina and the University of Prizren. In addition, the company funded a scholarship program for the country’s most promising students at the American University of Kosovo and has provided support to the Kosovo American Education Fund to send high achievers to study in the U.S.
